I am passionate about television, especially its role as a powerful storytelling medium. I love to discuss and share my knowledge of the art-form. Also, I enjoy “marathonning” dozens of episodes in a row.
In short, I am a TV Writer.
Here are a few of my recent TV writing accolades:
Official Artist – 2015 New York Television Festival
Winner – 2015 Tracking-Board Launch Pad Pilot Mentorship
2nd Place – 2015 JHRTS Pilot Script Competition
Top 5 – 2016 A-List Pilot Script Competition
Top 5% – 2015 Launch Pad Pilot Competition
Top 10% – 2014 Austin Film Festival (Pilots)

Over my years in Los Angeles, I have worked in many aspects of televisions, from development to post-production. My professional experiences include AMC’s Hell on Wheels and TNT’s Falling Skies, plus some time at the nascent premium cable network EPIX.
In 2008, I launched TV CALLING, a website dedicated to television writing. The site covers an array of topics ranging from spec scripts and outlines to draft postmortems and “breaking in” tips.
With over 15,000 monthly visitors, TV CALLING has since become one of the most widely followed sources of analysis and information about the TV writing industry. My annual “Spec Script Lists”, interviews with working professionals and TV show analysis are among the most widely shared resources for professional and aspiring screenwriters.
